olympics

Last Friday (20th August), the students participated in a mini olympics day. They walked in their allocated countries from school to Mt Kuring-gai oval for the opening ceremony. Once arriving at the oval, the country groups rotated around novelty events, including a fancy dress relat, stocking throw, soccer shoot out, jumping castle and target throw, just to name a few. The event finished with a closing ceremony walk back to school, a presentation of medals (awarded to those who showed the olympic values) and a colour run! It was a factastic day filled with fun! We would like to thank Moving Bodies and Bec Ross for donating the use of their jumping castle and our wonderful teacher, Mrs Todd for all her hard work into organising the days events. It was evident that all the students had a great time! :) (see more photos in the photo album titled Mini Olympics and Colour Run)
