EDUCATION WEEK

Education Week 2016 will be celebrated in Week 3 of Term 3 (1st – 5th August). We will be having a special assembly on Friday 5th August from 9:30am.

PHOTOS PLEASE!

We are putting together a slideshow of photos for Education Week with the theme of Persistence and Resilience. It would be great if we could have one photo of each student that shows them trying something new (eg. high ropes, riding a bike without training wheels, learning how to dive, rock climbing, etc). Photos can either be emailed to nicole.m.tudor@det.nsw.edu.au or given to Mrs Tudor at school in an envelope. Original photos will be scanned and returned to students.

WEEK OF TASTES

Wednesday 10th August

Once again, our school will be involved in Week of Tastes. Having so many wonderful parents helping out last year added to the success of the experience for students. If you are interested in helping out (to cut up foods, help in classrooms and clean up) please email nicole.m.tudor@det.nsw.edu.au.

BOOK WEEK PARADE

Tuesday 23rd August

This year, students can come dressed as their favourite book character (not a character from one of the Short List Books for Children's Book Of The Year). We ask that students don't come dressed as movie characters but rather, characters from children's books (the Premier's Reading Challenge list may be a good place to start if you are stuck for ideas).
